If you are healthy and can walk 5 to 6 hours daily, you can do this trekking. However, daily jugging or walking exercise is useful before you depart. Our trek to helambu circuit is a classical trek itinerary compared to most walks in this region leading up to the Thadepati hill station. The particular route is designed for globe trotters who wish to walk near by Kathmandu with in a more relaxed manner than take a look this itinerary.Day 01: Arrived at Kathmandu valley. Transfer to hotel
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.Day 02: Kathmandu city World Heritage sites tour, 6 hours.
We start our day trip on world heritage sites inside of Kathmandu city with our professional tourist guide Ammar Guni. Today’s sightseeing trip we especially includes Boudhanath stupa (also known as the oldest stupa of Nepal), Pasupatinath temple (holy temple of Hindu where cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati), Later we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square (recognized as a Hanuman dhoka durbar square) and Syambhunath Stupa (known as monkey temple). And transfer to back to hotel.Day 03: Kathmandu to Chisapani (2215m/7265ft), 5 hours walking
Chisapani area trekking or tour conducts from Sundarijal Bazzar, where you see a small dam and a hydroelectricity station in the northeast corner of the Kathmandu valley. The walk leads to a climb through subtropical and oak forest and on to Mulkharka, a scattered Tamang village. The trail again ascends through oak forest to a pass called Burlung Bhanjyang. After reaching the ridge, trek continues to descend to Chisopani where we stay overnight. Chisapani, offers fabulous panoramic views of the Jugal mountain range including Langtang, Ganesh in the far east and Manaslu, Annapurna towards far west. Overnight at Guesthouse.Day 04: Trek from Chisapani to Kutumasang (2470 m/8101ft), 6 hours
Trek to kutumasang continues alot of ups and downs but good level crosses meadows and fields. Patibhanjyang is on a saddle at the bottom of the ridge at 1770m. This is a Brahming and Chhetri village with a few shops and hotels. The trail heads north out of the Patibhanjyang along the forested ridge and then descends to a large chorten, the Tamang village of Gul Bhanjyang . This is a delightful, classic hill village. Again, the trail climbs the ridge from Gul Bhanjyang to another pass at 2620m. The trail then descends to Kutumasang at 2470m for the overnight stay.Day 05: Trek to Tharepati (3510 m/11512ft) hill station, 6 hours
The trail climbs above Kutumasang on a steep through rough hill walking, mostly through rhododendron and fir forests where there are no permanent settlements. The trail goes further descends to Magen Goth (3150m) and ascend up than finally we reach at Tharepati for overnight stay. Therepati hill station offers scenic Himalayan view of almost whole Langtang range.Day 06: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2600 m/8528ft), 8 hours
We continue east descending steeply down a ravine. The vegetation changes to large firs, then to oaks and rhododendron. Crossing a stream on a suspension bridge, the trail makes a short final climb to reach the prosperous Sherpa village Melachigaon (2530m).
From Melamchigaon, the trail continues to descend to the Melamchi river. Once across the suspension bridge, the trail begins climbing up the other side of the valley towards Tarkeghyang. It is a long climb to this picturesque village at 2600m. Tarkeghyang is the largest settlements of Helambu. It is a good place to rest and stay overnight.
Leaving Tarkeghyang, the trail sweep around the wide valley end between Parachin and the pretty village of Gangjwal 2500m. From the edge of the ridge but then continues at the same altitude along the side of the ridge crossing a number of streams, waterfalls and landslides. Finally, it reaches Talamarang where we stay overnight.Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu, 5 hours
Early morning we take a local bus (private vehicle cost an extra) back to Kathmandu city. You can do some last minute shopping of souvenirs for your family and relatives.Day 09: Final departure day

Answer: Actually for this kind of trekking is suitable for keen trekkers/walkers who are able to walk around 4 or 5 hours in a day, with a light weight day pack. For this trekking if you have about little experience would be better.Question: What kind of accommodation can I expect on Helambu valley trekking?
Answer: We provide you tourist standard accommodation in Kathmandu and during the trekking routes. the rooms along the routes are clean with cozy bed with nice mattress and blankets. However we recommend you to take your own sleeping bags if you have one with you otherwise, you may rent it while you are in Kathmandu.Question: What kind of food can I expect in this trek?
Answer: All the guest houses along the routes in Helambu village trekking have attached restaurant and they cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian such as Pasta, tuna bakes, noodles, potatoes, eggs, dhal bhat, bread, soups, fresh vegetables (variety depends on the season)
The dinner and breakfast are provided in the same lodge you spend the night every day and Lunch will be provided on the way to next place where you are going.
Answer: Guest house trekking all the lodges they have shower which you can get it somewhere paying and somewhere without paying however if you are in camping trekking – we provide you hot water bucket then you will take bucket shower.Question: How do I get drinking water on Helambu short Trekking?
Answer: During the trekking route there are all places hotel and shops where you can able to buy mineral water and you can buy it for drinking but however we advise against buying mineral water in plastic bottles, as currently there are no provisions for disposing of these. Instead, we provide you boiled water or bringing chlorine tablets to purify the normal water as the normal water is available in camp site/along the way.Question: Can I charge my digital camera or other batteries on my trip?
Answer: During the lodge trekking there will be more chances to charge the battery. We recommend to you bring extra pair for in case. Remember to bring your adapters! An extra battery will be recommended.Is there any communication facilities on Helambu village express trekking?
Answer: In this trekking route you can get telephone services as well as internet services as well.Question: Can I use credit cards in Trekking?
Answer: No! So, for the trekking routes you need to have cash Nepali rupees because credit cards works only in the bigger city areas.Question: When should I book my trip and what is the payments terms?

As we are a responsible trekking tour operator agency, each of our porter carry maximum 25 kilo of your backpack which means 2 guest (12.5 kg luggage of each guest) : 1 porter basis. If you wish to have a private porter, you might also get it on paying an extra cost.Question: How much distance do I walk each day?
Answer: When walking in the mountains, the distance you cover each day can vary greatly due to gradient, terrain and altitude. As such it is very hard to give specific distances on each day, however you have to be prepared to walk roughly about 5 hours each day.Question: Do I need walking polls ?
Answer: Walking pools are recommended but not compulsory.Question: How much additional money do I need per day?
Answer: You can allocate US$ 08 – 10 for a lunch / dinner in Kathmandu and it depends on your spending habits. US$ 7 to 10 US$ each day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolates, tea coffee and some drinks while you are on trek.
