Pokhara lake side located at 210 kilometers west of Kathmandu. During the journey, you can drive through heavily terraced fields and river valley to Pokhara. Having pleasant weather, Pokhara is tourist’s paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You can also take a flight from Kathamndu to Pokhara instead of drive.Day 04 : Drive to Nayapul (1010m) then trek to Tikhedunga village (1570 meters)
The first day trek start at Nayapull after 1 and half hour driving by private vehicle from Pokhara. After 20 minutes short walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015m) a large village that has many shops and teahouses inhabitance of Gurung, Magar and Thakali. Then, the trail continues following the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola through villages and climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1495m) and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga (1570m). Today’s treks offers a short and comparatively easy day, during the journey allowing getting use to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Stay overnight at guesthouse.Day 05 : Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani village (2840m), 6 hours
After breakfast, we begin our journey with a steep climb to large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m) after crossed bridge. Then the trail leads us continue to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). Occasionally, we can see Lonmgur (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping on the tree. Then we trek towards Nangethanti (2460m), after an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m). Stay overnight at lodgeDay 06 : Hike up Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m) then to Khopra hill (4020m), 7 hours
Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) early in the morning to get sunrise ; this viewpoint provides beautiful sunrise over the high Annapurna Himalayas such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, South Annapurna etc. along with a network of other peaks, slowly begin to appear like magic before our eyes. We come back to Ghorepani for a hot breakfast and start walking downhill to Phalate and then ascend over upper trail to get khopra ridge. Stay overnight at guest house run by community.Day 07 : Trek khopra Danda to Khayar Base Camp (4620m) 5 to 6 hours Day 08 : Explore day in Khyar Bace Camp (visit Kalibaraha holy Lake and Annapurna south glacier) Day 09 : Trek Khyar Bace Camp to khopra Danda (4020m) 5 to 5 ½ hours Day 10 : Trek khopra Danda to Chhistibung (3100m) 4 to 5 hour Day 11 : Trek Chhistibung to Dobato (3460m) 5 to 5 ½ hours Day 12 : Trek Dobato to Ghandruk village (1940m) via Tadapani (2520m), 7 hours
The trail goes downhill walking gently along ridges with pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali hill, then descent through main trekking route with the beautiful waterfall, stream, and dense forest to the Banthati. The stream has some clear pools alongside the trail and finally climb up to the final destination Tadapani where we can have lunch and walk further downhill to Ghandruk village. Ghaundrung village the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal, inhabitant of Gurung people. Ghandruk village offers excellent sunrise with mountains changeable face. If you have time enough than visit Gurung museum. Stay overnight at Lodge.Day 13 : Trek from Ghaundrung to Nayapull village, Drive to Pokhara (950m) 1:45 hours
Today is our last day of trekking; we complete our trek in Nayapull at elevation of 1010 meters, short and easy walking through the terraces hill settlement. Then drive 1 and half hour by private vehicle followed by a ride back to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city harboring a unique setting of tropical climate and vegetation with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas. After late breakfast, we will start sight scene around Pokhara valley.
