Gokyo Treks & Expedition has catered the needs of mountaineers climbing Pachermo Peak, Expedition / Mountaineering in a professional and committed manner.
Nepal is very beautiful for its peaks and other beautiful trekking destination. Imjatse was first named Island Peak because of it's resemblance to an island in a sea of ice when seen from above Dingboche. As well as providing an enjoyable climb the peak also provides some of the most striking scenery in the Khumbu. From this area we can see the various mountain which is above 6 000mts above sea level such as Nuptse, Lhotse, Lhotse Middle Peak , Lhotse Star, Cho Polu, Makalu , Baruntse and Ama Dablam.
Pachermo Peak lies due south of the Tesi Lapcha, a high pass of the Khumbu Region which can be seen from the peak. It is an attractive and straightforward snow peak with a well defined north by north-west ridge rising from the relatively flat crevassed glacier astride the Tesi Lapcha. To the west of the ridge the face forms a uniform snow slope broken by crevasses and small seracs rising from the rocky lower buttresses above the Drolambau Glacier. |
