Poon Hill trek is a special trek that allows us to link on under-used route between the Village that sit at the foots of the Annapurna area, is truly called as all the best of the trekking in Nepal. The latter provides a wonderful Panorama of the entire famous mountain in this range. Fine scenery, rhododendron forest and warm hospitality area all features of this trekking. The trek offers particularly by the Gurungs & Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurna with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline. You will have a pleasant feeling for being quite near to nature. The day after as you get to a place called Poon Hill (3210m), after walking up a distance of around an hour, you cannot only enjoy a superb panorama of both Annapurna and Dhaulagiri region but when sun rises, it touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks, there gradually appear, just like magic that your eye could not believe it also very splendid and magnificent view of sunrise.

Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking trails have good Teahouse / lodges facilities management by ethnic families. A local hotel / Lodge restaurant provides to the trekkers best and delicious meals. Gokyo Treks offer Teahouses (Lodges Camp) or Camping (Tents Camp) trekking but lodged camp trekking is very popular because which is cheaper compare with Camping Trekking.

Day 01 Kathmandu drive Toursit bus to Pokhara (820).
Day 02 Pokhara drive to Nayapul trek to Tirkhedunga (1545 m).
Day 03 Tirkhedunga trek to Ghorepani (2775 m) in 6h to 7h
Day 04 Ghorepani visit Poon Hill (3193 m) trek to Tadapani (2540 m)
Day 05 Tadapani trek to Ghandrung (1940m O/N Teahouse / Lodge
Day 06 Ghandrung trek to Tolkha (1700m) O/N Teahouse / Lodge
Day 07 Tolkha trek Dhampus Phedi drive to Pokhara (820m) O/N Hotel
Day 08 Pokhara tourist bus to Kathmandu transfer to Hotel
