Village Excursion : A real Trekking In Nepal
Starting with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Ranipuwa Bazaar, then trek along the foothill visiting primitive villages and offers great views of Himalchuli (78893 m), Manaslu (8163 m), Pabil 7102 m), Ganesh Himal 2nd (7150 m), Ganesh himal 1st (7406 m), Ganesh Himal 5th (6950 m), Langtang (7246 m) and in the right side can be seen Guru Karpori (68874 m), Dorje Lakpa (6790 m), Gyaltzen Peak (6705 m). The fantastic mountain scenery and close proximately to Kathmandu make this one of our favourite treks. This is an off the beaten village trekking. So the itinerary can be customizing as per your clients interest, time and budget.
The highlights of this trekking region is : Exploring typical Nepalese lifestyles, historical sites, Monuments, great scenery of Himalayan panorama, walking Through beautiful terrace farmlands, sparkling waterfalls and tranquil rivers.
We are promoting this village trekking route to exploring the culture and giving benefit to the local communities. The main motives are to develop the social lifestyles and suggest them to encourage producing Organic food. This trek is not very hard but very non-touristy / virgin trail cultural and peaceful. The lodges are not available during the route. So we must organized tented camp during the trail. The Himalayan View of giant Ganesh Himal family and the Manaslu himalayan range are the most attraction of this routeFixed Itinerary: 1
Day 01: Kathmandu - Ranipuwa – Thansing – Kabilas (just crossing the likhu river)
Day 02: Hiking around Raksheswor temple. Then trek along the way up to Nateswori hill station for the view of Himalayas and stay over there in the local house.
Day 03: Trek again to Ghalegaon. Visiting the Tamang villages and the Ghang / Gomba. Stay in the local house.
Day 04: Trek down to Bhadrutar school and trek again to Birtachour school. Birtachour (School: our project), interactive with school children. If possible 30 Minutes teaching for children. Afternoon visiting Shiva temple in Ghyampekhola. If possible fishing on the river. Stay overnight in Garegaon village near to Ghyampe khola.
Day 05: Trek from Garegaon village to Suryachour via Tamang village and Gurung village. Then crossing the shivapuri National park trek down to Jhor. Then taking local bus back to Kathmandu. After bus drive trek will completely finish in Samakhusi.
Option trips: Trekking Plan No: 2
Day 01: Kathmandu – Birtachour via tamang community. Saty overnight in the local house in Garegaon.
Day 02: Excursion to our project to school, teach the students around 30 minutes as a interactive programs then explore the Ghyampeswori temple. Stay overnight in the Garegaon village. In the evening organic dinner with local family.
Day 03: Trek along the likhu river to Upper Shivalaya. Stay overnight in the local house around there.
Day 04: Trek from upper Shivalaya to Chisopani and stay overnight in the tea house. Here we have really good tea houses.
Day 05: After breakfast trek up to the Shivapuri National park, crossing the park trek down to Sundarijal. Taking local bus, drive back to Kathmandu ratnapark. Then the trek will finish.
