Since 2004, we have been supporting different villages in Nuwakot district, providing school stationery things for the students and sports material for the school as on a yearly basis. Because the locals have difficult for hand to mouth even they works during the whole day in their farm. Most farmer they have their own land and produced mize, corn, millet, potatoes and so on. Whatever they grow, always difficult to survive themselves during the year. They have very less financial position even to send their children to school. So they don't want to send their children to school. Most children had to go to school spending several hrs. School children are facing several difficulties epecially on the Mountains. Hardly when they go to school, has no toilets and must walk or runs some minutes to cave or stream. Therefore :- We laid a pipeline to provide them pure drinking water. We provide the water for the village on an annual basis giving some labor cost donation. We are the educated personality from the village who knows the various problems about the lifestyle of this village. So we decided to help the mountain village since then. When we established our company, made a plan, 20 % of the net income directly goes to the Social contribution.

In 2011 March, We built 4 different toilets for those students in a remote part of Nuwakot which could be behind of Gosaikunda lake. To make it, we made a one construction group who can check directly to the toilets. Then we donated some cash to this committee and after construction they were handover all the bills and details labor cost and so on. And we paid all. For the furniture and others like some clothes to the students, we didn't have sufficient money. So we are thinking to help them again in coming March - Aril next year, only if we have some better business. Supplies: If you're coming to Nepal for the purpose of trekking, and looking for a simple but effective way to help, leave a little extra room in your suite case for a few supplies to leave with Community Development Foundation

Trekking Supplies: Most of the new trekking guide / porter do not have any good trekking gear when they begin in the program and the foundation (project) provides the necessary equipment. Any new or used equipment would be very valuable to build the stock room. Helpful items to bring or leave behind include: 

Trekking equipment List:
Hiking boots / trekking (preferably smaller sizes US 5-8, European 36-42), Small back packs (40 L) or day packs , Jackets/ rain gear , Thermal layers , Trekking / Hiking socks , Baseball caps socks , 1st Aid Kits , Sun glasses , Pocket knives , Water bottles 

Children's Program: Your gifts for the children are greatly appreciated, but we ask that donations are made through the Community Development Foundation rather than giving them directly to the children. The reason for this is to maintain good relations between children and tourists and not promote begging, which has become intense in some areas. The organization can arrange informal meetings in which you could possibly offer your gifts at the family home, or gifts can be distributed by the organization as they are needed.
