Kanchenjunga Trekkking in Nepal !!

Mt. Kanchenjunga is worlds 3rd tallest mountains at 28,169 feet or 8,586m, means "The five Treasures of Snows". A number of climbers and hikers have had the privilege to explore and climb the mountain peaks where they are dazzled by the picturesque views surrounding them from different viewing points. Of all the mountain ranges Kanchenjunga is one of the least explored because of its remoteness and the difficulties in getting permission and access from the Indian side.

Kanchenjunga is made up of five peaks, three of which are found in India and the other two in Nepal. Another interesting fact is that four of the five peaks reach or go over 8,450m. Kangbachen is the lowest peak reaching a height of 7,903 meters, next is Kanchenjunga South at 8,494 meters. Then there is Kanchenjunga Central, which stands at 8,482m, Kanchenjunga West at 8,505m and the highest Kanchenjunga Main at 8,586m.

In Nepal there is certain part of Kanchenjunga that has been made a conservation area run by the World Wildlife Fund, protecting, among other things, the Red Panda. Similarly, parts of Kanchenjunga found in India have been made protected areas in an attempt to provide sanctuary to both flora and fauna. It is encircled with dozens of peaks, each of them competing with their queen.

Guest feedbacks / testimonials : -

It was great highlight for me was laying in the alpine meadow while the clouds floated by. Everyone should do this at least once in their lives. The decision to spend an extra night in Ghunsa and Kambachen were a good one. I will never tire of the breathtaking views. Summitting Ghunsa was a personal goal. To be honest, climbed Khambachen was my favourite day.

I have truly come to love Kanchenjunga since i have been to Nepal in 2006. You have made it possible for me to see many spectacular places and meet many wonderful people in your beautiful country Nepal. Anyone who has not experienced Kanchenjunga with Gokyo Treks has no idea what they are missing.
I cannot wait to see the photos. I am already thinking about returning next year. I will continue to recommend Gokyo Treks, your company to my friends and family.

Thank you again for everything and best of luck.

Two Germans trekking Kanchenjunga (3 weeks)

We had a clear vision of what our journey to Kanchenjunga Base Camp should be like. This was a problem for other agencies and even the biggest of them. But instead of arguing Goyko Treks just made it happen.
It was very easy and nice to work with Ammar and his colleges, as if we were planning trips since years. They had a big interest in our satisfaction and took care of us in any situation. If it was from home, far ahead of the journey, directly after arriving in Kathmandu as well as after the trip.
That is how it should work. Orientation on the clients not on standard trips taken off the shelf. I can ensure you. An attractive certificate isnt´t all you get if you decide to work with Goyko Treks.
