Rolwaling Himalayan Trekking in Nepal !!

Rolwaling himalayan trekking is located in north central Nepal between Langtang and Eeverst region. Mt. Gauri Shankar lies to the same region and Mt. Melungtse (7181m.) is the highest peak of the range. Some 20 Km. northeast of the Rolwaling Himal is Khumbu Himalayan range which houses Mt. Everest, Lothse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu etc.

An extraordinary and enjoyable camping- style trekking can be made to the Rolwaling valley crossing the famous Tashi Lapcha Pass (5800m.). This strenuous trekking is a rewarding experience in terms of cultural exposure and awesome Himalayan views. After several days of walking, crossing the passes and exploring the Tsho Rolpa Lake we enter the Khumbu region. Few days of comparably soft walking in the Khumbu region we trek down to Lukla to board the flight back to Kathmandu.

Gokyo Treks Company provided trekking an all-encompassing experience that satisfied our needs while traveling in the Rolowalling and hiking through the Himalayas. With my husband and 2 other colleagues took the trek led us from Dolakha(1350m)  and crossed Tashi Lapcha Pass 5755 m exit in Namche Bazar then trek descend down to lukla and fly back to Kathamndu. It was wonderful journeys of 17 days. Ammar, the owner is incredibly willing to help out as much as he can. His knowledge of the area was immense, and he was respected among others. Our guide, Sherpa Angthele, was friendly and had a good sense of humor (not to mention a mastery of English and Nepalese). He provided every service to us along the way. The hike was beautiful and the experience was one of a kind. I would recommend anyone planning to trek in the Himalayas to use with this company “Gokyo Treks”.
