Namche Bazar - Tengboche trekking in Nepal !!
During this treks, you will have close up views of over 8000 m high Himalayan giant including Mt. Everest-8848 m, Lhotse - 8516m, Ama Dablam - 6856m. Mt. Thamserku and Mt. Khantenga and more. This is also the famous traditional route to Everest Base Camp trek with famous Tengboche Monastery and Mani Rimdu festival. This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure you will enjoy this trek alot. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not to experience high altitude sickness and to show and let you experience much more about Sherpa culture and nature from the region. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary. Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however we request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.
Suggested Itinerary: 09 Days
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,348m/4,422ft)
Day 02: A Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) and then to Phakding (2640m.)
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m.)
Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazzar
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m.)
Day 07: Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
Day 09: We board our early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at TIA, we would be received by our representatives and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, we go for shopping.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,348m/4,422ft)
While you landed at the Tribhuwan International airport 8 eyes travel & tours representative welcomes you introduce to you transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, bring you at head office and briefing about the program and evening we’ll pick up you for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural program in the heart of Kathmandu and overnight at Hotel with B/B plan.
Day 02: A Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
After your breakfast to head on for our guided day trip to world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and visit the highlights of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas. We take you to visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is place of thousand of devotees, Sadhus (holy men/Baba), and can be seen the cremating body most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati. Hundreds of monkeys are giggling with you and take a time to exploring surrounding area and visit Baudhanath stupa and another pilgrimage centre which is most popular and important place for Buddhist. You can explore with rounding prayer wheel and flattering colorful flag with melodious chanting noise. After visiting Baudhanath stupa we’ll drive to the City of Devotees (Bhaktapur). This traditional and traffic free town is the third biggest town in the Valley. We’ll explore the medieval like squares, courtyards and temples of this vibrant town. After a stop for lunch at restaurant in Bhaktapur it’s time to drive back to Kathmandu and meet up with your travel consultant & fellows to prepare for next day and overnight at the hotel. Alternatively, the same group may have option to choose same 3 sightseeing place inside Kathmandu valley instead of these given place.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) and then to Phakding (2640m.)
We take early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.). Upon arrival at Lukla, we would be refreshed in one of the hotels and then start our trek to Phakding (2640 m.). We trek following a gentle climb up the mountain side on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. Nupla (5885m) can be seen in a stone throwing distance on the opposite bank. In the late afternoon, we reach Phakding.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3440m.)
Having breakfast at Phakding, we commence our trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.).The trail goes along the right bank of Dudh Koshi. Thamserku is standing majestically skyward on the opposite bank. We then reach Bengar. The trail now climbs from the riverbed on the left bank into the mountain, through a forest to Chumoa. We continue along the trail with many ups and downs; cross a stream, and pass by the tiny village Monjo. We then come to Sagarmatha National Park Service where a park entrance fee is to be deposited. We follow a short walk along the riverbed of this V-shaped valley where the river forks Dudh Koshi to the right Bhote Koshi to the left. Now we begin steep ascent to Namche Bazar. On the way, we would have excellent views of Everest (8848m) and Lhotse (8516m.).Surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges, Namche Bazar (3440m) is a central hub of the area for food, trekking gears and other necessary goods.
Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazzar
We take rest at Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) for acclimatization. It is considered as an ideal place for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading towards Tyangboche. We go up to Khhumjung monastery. It is a small settlement of Sherpa community. We enjoy the splendid view of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, Kwangde and so on from here. While returning to Namche, we would visit Museum just above the town that exhibits Sherpa culture.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m.)
Taking breakfast at Namche Bazaar, we would be heading towards Tyangboche (3867 m.). The trail goes ahead leaving a steep cliff that drops down to the Dudh Kosi. In this section too, we would have a panoramic view of the Himalayas such as Ama Dablam (6812m), Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse (7855m) and Tawoche (6501m). We would visit Trashinga, Phunki Tenga and reach Tyangboche. Tyangboche offers a good view of sun rise and sun set at Everest and Ama Dablam
Day 07: Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
It is our turn to trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m ). It takes about four and half hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Tyangboche. En route we will visit traditional villages like Khumjung and Khunde. We will be visiting monastery that has Yeti Scalp. Finally, we come to Namche Bazaar in the late afternoon
Day 08: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.)
Having breakfast in the teahouse at Namche Bazaar, we trek to Lukla. It is the last day of our trek. Lunch will be served on the way. Upon arrival at Lukla, we would get refreshed and take rest.
Day 09: We board our early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at TIA, we would be received by our representatives and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, we go for shopping.
Day 10: Kathmandu valley sightseeing.
After breakfast the day will start to our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; including visits to the pilgrimage sites of Hindus Pashupatinath temple, the world biggest Bouddhanath Stupa, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess) in central Kathmandu. Evening pre-trip discussion and introduce with our fellow trekking staff for your adventure trip.
